Delhi-based Perfact Colour Digital Prints Private Ltd. is a well know name in the digital printing sphere. A 14 year-old company, Perfact has grown by leaps and bounds. It has two establishments in Delhi and Gurgaon. Some of the services offered by Perfact include black and white and colour digital printing, colour and black and white photocopying, variable data printing, etc.

Perfact is a complete document solutions company. Says Ashwani Arya, director, Perfact, “It provides a one stop solution to the corporate for colour and black and white offset/digital printing requirements such as colour, black and white plotting of posters, window displays and engineering drawings amongst others. Perfact has the latest digital equipments available in India.”

Solutions From Xerox

Initially, Perfact was using Xerox model DC 470 for black and white and DC 5252. With the expansion of the business operations, the company has been adding latest printing technologies from Xerox. It has added the DP 1800 - a state-of-the-art enabled black and white digital equipment and DC 6060 – a high speed full colour equipment to its overall portfolio.

Adds Arya, “With these multiple Xerox Digital equipments mentioned above, our organisational model has got the capacity to print 1000 pages per minute in black and white. We are the first customers of Xerox to deploy Colour Digital Press Xerox 5252 with Fiery EX 5000 in India. We have completed the remodeling of our Graphic Designing Unit with latest hi-end systems and a technically strong team.”

The total cost of the deployment was around Rs 5 crore which includes both hardware and software solutions. About Rs 50 lakh was spent on the printing software solutions which Perfact has also bought from Xerox. Elaborates Arya, “There are two important reasons to select Xerox solutions. First and foremost is Xerox being worldwide leader in high end digital equipments; no other competitor has got any comparable products in this category. Secondly, Xerox has an excellent service support which is the primary and biggest strength of Xerox.”

Deployment leads to increased ROI

The deployment has benefited the employees to a great extent. Bill printing, premium notices, bank statements, conference documentation, short run publication of books, indoor posters, drawings, maps, colour and black and white scanning and printing amongst others are smoothly carried out by the employees. The implementation has also enabled the company to handle bulk orders - previously not feasible, and has also brought down the printing costs.

Informing about the ROI, Arya says, “The ROI has increased consistently with the investment on XEROX equipments. Investing in digital equipments has resulted in increased productivity with enhanced capacities resulting in higher ROI. Today, we are at a Rs 8 crore company. We thank Xerox for supplying us with the best of their equipment supported with excellent service levels that has helped us produce fantastic output consistently and meet all customer quality requirements.”
