Suprajit Engineering recently implemented Oracle Applications across eight of its production facilities to enhance its business operations through increased financial accountability and better performance measurement. The company is currently in the process of deploying Oracle Applications across its remaining two manufacturing units.
Suprajit Engineering has implemented Oracle Order Management, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Manufacturing and Oracle Financial Management to remove data redundancy and enable real time data information sharing and to help lower the cost of IT management.
The implementation was handled by Sonata Information Technology, a Certified Advantage partner in the Oracle PartnerNetwork.
"With a clientele comprising the leading automobile manufacturers globally, we felt the need for deploying IT to compete effectively in the global market. We opted for Oracle Applications as we found them to provide ease of use and flexibility at a lower cost," said Ajith Rai, CEO, Suprajit Engineering. "It was a strategic initiative undertaken to enhance our growth and profitability. With Oracle Applications we are now able to analyze data in real time leading to improved decision making."
According to the release, Oracle Applications have enabled Suprajit Engineering to create integrated and standardized business processes that provides them with greater transparency and better control with lower total cost of ownership.
"Our rich experience in deploying business applications for medium to large enterprises across several industry segments, coupled with our evolved and innovative implementation methodology delivers value to our customers through cost effective and risk free implementations" said Sujit Mohanty, Director, Sonata Information Technology.
