The New Year saw Rajiv Gerela, move from his position as the general manager of IT, Wipro BPO to Deutsche Bank. Gerela’s experience in the BPO space, will drive Deutsche Bank’s initiative to streamline some of its processes, by establishing an internal BPO.
Although the BPO service will not be available to all, it will definitely help Deutsche Bank function more effectively.
His previous position allowed him to explore uncharted territories such as voice based services, at Wipro BPO. However, since Gerela has now shifted his base of operation to Deutsche Bank, this will allow him to dip his feet into the banking sector.
As the Head of the BPO service, Gerela’s role requires him to evaluate the current IT setup, and eventually, bring about the desired change.
