Business Objects, a provider of business intelligence (BI) solutions, has launched Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Centre of Excellence (CoE) to support the development of next generation performance management solutions that empower decision makers, and change the way organisations work.
The Business Objects EPM Centre of Excellence will focus on the mission critical areas of strategy, process, technology, and metrics. The Centre will house strategists, industry domain experts, product management leaders, and development personnel to advance the company's suite of EPM solutions for its customers. It will also focus on the future setting agenda for EPM and the benefits organisations can expect from their investments.
The Centre of Excellence will be led by Peri Pierone, vice president of EPM planning and analytics at Business Objects. According to Pierone, "The market is demanding more from EPM solution providers. The announcement will help ensure Business Objects is strategically aligned with its clients. It will also enable a more rapid delivery of industry aware solutions all with the goal of meeting the needs of our customers today and in the future."
The company will also partner with industry professionals to help customers understand the challenges of implementing performance management solutions today, as well as to present a vision for where the market is headed.
