Bharti Airtel and Research In Motion have introduced the new BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone with built-in GPS (Global Positioning System) in India. The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 will be available from Airtel for Rs 24,990.

With its built-in GPS combined with WayFinder Navigator, users of the BlackBerry Pearl 8110 can plan trips, save their favourite locations and share routes and maps with others by email. WayFinder Navigator, an after-market offering from Airtel, provides audible, turn-by-turn navigation and comes with maps covering major cities and road networks across India.
The BlackBerry Pearl 8110 smartphone also features GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity; access to email, phone, organiser, browser and other mobile applications; advanced media player and enhanced desktop media manager software; support on BlackBerry Internet Service, which provides users with the ability to access up to 10 supported email accounts; and support on BlackBerry Enterprise Server, which tightly integrates with IBM Lotus Domino, Microsoft Exchange and Novell GroupWise to provide secure wireless access to email and other applications.
