BroVis Wireless Networks, a developer and manufacturer of Broadband Wireless Access Systems has announced the launch of MAXCell solution, a Wave2 compliant WiMAX range of wireless systems aimed at Telcos, Competitive Service Providers and Internet Service Providers.
As part of its MAXCell solution, BroVis introduced AC160 series IEEE 802.16e WiMAX CPE and WiFi/WiMAX gateway systems (subscriber side) which will be made available in the first half of 2008. BroVis will also launch its AS1600 series WiMAX PICO cell and FEMTO cell base station systems and BroView Controller as part of its MAXCell solution, during the second half of 2008.

BroVis' current WiMAX offerings include both outdoor and indoor CPE systems. The CPE variants include WiFi/WiMAX gateway CPE systems and indoor and outdoor CPE systems. There is an option for voice ports with integrated SIP in the high-end versions.
The MAXCell range of WiMAX systems will be interoperable with most of the WiMAX BTS wireless systems.
