By: Abhishek Raval  |  Oct 24, 2007

Geneva Software launched a telecom solution 'Geneva E2C' that enables SMS delivery in eleven Indian languages. The E2C tool can send up to one lakh SMS in an hour from PC to mobile. The Software is based on the patented 'Vivid Technology' which allows rendering any world language on all electronic display irrespective of device constraint.

Geneva E2C can run on a regular desktop computer connected to an internet connection. The software can import mobile phone numbers from text files, Microsoft Excel workbooks and Microsoft Access database.

The application enables SMS to be sent in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarathi, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu.

"The E2C will be useful to all the companies who delivers information through the SMS channel. From insurance reminders, discount offers, essential product information and announcements to news alerts, the capability of E2C application is widespread," said T Murali Krishna Reddy, MD, Geneva Software Technologies. Importantly the tool will be an advantage for the companies who want to tap the business potential in the rural areas.

"The SMS sent by E2C can be received by a mobile whose software does not support the language of the SMS and the same message can be forwarded to a mobile again not having the language support. The tool also does not have any font or graphic compulsion to receive an SMS," informed Ravindra V V, Inventor- Director Technical, Geneva Software Technologies.

The company has partnered with eSys, an IT component distributor to market 'Geneva E2C' in India. The software is priced at Rs. 7699 and offers a time bound package of 10000 SMS free.
