F-Secure has announced a partnership with Airtel Broadband & Telephone Services (B&TS), to provide data security to the company’s broadband subscribers across the country.

Under the agreement, Airtel will offer its broadband customers F-Secure’s security solutions through the Airtel PC Secure service. The service offers clients security, including proactive protection through F-Secure’s DeepGuard technology, parental control as well as protection from all of today’s most common data security threats including phishing, viruses, spyware, malware and Trojans – all integrated into an automatically updated package.

F-Secure’s value added service will be integrated into the monthly Internet subscription in a phased manner. In the first phase the Airtel PC Secure service will be immediately offered to Airtel broadband home users. The service for business users will be available later.
