Wipro Infotech division has signed a pact with the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) to provide training, skills and consultancy services to the latter's Centre for Distance Education.

The centre is engaged in the development of electronic learning courses. Wipro has now become a partner in its e-learning initiatives.

Under the memorandum of understanding (MoU), Wipro shall organise regular seminars and workshops by leading experts to train the staff and students of distance education in all aspects that concern e-learning.

Wipro shall engage four students from the campus for training during summers, and shall also offer projects to the students of AMU in IT products marketing.
