QAD, a provider of enterprise software and services for global manufacturers, has announced an educational alliance in India with NMIMS University to enable management students to enhance their knowledge of working with global enterprise resource planning software solutions.
“We are extremely pleased to work with NMIMS in India. It is one of the leading business schools in India, and having students work with our technologies will provide them an added advantage for understanding today’s fast-paced global business environment, we know that this will help develop graduates more able to address the challenges of global manufacturers” said Tony Yip, MD, QAD Asia.
"At NMIMS, our focus is to create professionals with as much critical industry knowledge as possible. We believe that QAD through this initiative is taking the lead in ensuring that students are well versed with technologies that will be critical to future business needs and environment. This initiative is a part of our efforts to strengthen the Operations Management stream at NMIMS,” said Dr. P.N. Mukherjee from NMIMS.
NMIMS will be providing students this training in the form of a 40-hour training certification course. NMIMS aims to provide educational offerings around QAD’s full range of enterprise software solutions, including Manufacturing, Financials, CRM, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Asset Management, Transportation Management, and Supply Chain, among others, all of which are currently prevalent requirements in global manufacturing today.
