3i Infotech has been selected by the Haryana State Government for the establishment of e-Disha Ekal Seva Kendra project. In order to roll out the project, 3i Infotech will collaborate with Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON), the state’s nodal agency.
As a part of the project, 3i Infotech will set up over 322 Citizen Service Centres (eDisha Ekal Seva Kendras) in the Gurgaon division comprising Gurgaon, Faridabad, Rewari, Mahendergarh and Mewat districts. The centres will serve as a single window service delivery channel for government services.
Commenting on the project, Varinder Singh Kundu, MD, HARTRON, said, “The vision of the e-Disha project is to make government services easily available to the citizens of Haryana. With the CSCs in place, citizens will be able to interact with various government offices virtually at their doorsteps. In order to help us achieve this vision, 3i Infotech was the natural choice given their deep knowledge and experience in similar e-governance projects.”
According to Anirudh Prabhakaran, CEO, South Asia, 3i Infotech, “Haryana has emerged as one of the most proliferating states in terms of investments, infrastructure and environment. The e-Disha project is a significant indicator of this and highlights the state’s commitment to its citizens and their welfare. We are glad to be partnering with the Government of Haryana and HARTRON for this project and hope to play a key role in ensuring that their vision becomes a reality.”
