CA, Inc. has announced a new release of CA Recovery Management enabling companies to simplify management, tighten security and speed recovery of critical business information. This includes new releases of CA ARCserve Backup, CA XOsoft High Availability (formerly CA XOsoft WANSyncHA) and CA XOsoft Replication (formerly CA XOsoft WANSync).
These SQL databases are backed up through CA ARCserve Backup scenario. They are displayed the same way as if they are backed up via ARCserve SQL agent. Seamless integration between CA ARCserve Backup r12and CA XOsoft r12 enables this functionality.
The CA XOsoft scenarios will be displayed under a new backup tree called "CA XOsoft Scenarios". This seamless integration between CA ARCserve r12 and CA XOsoft r12 enables users to select any scenarios under this tree for backup. If a scenario is selected for backup, all data of that scenario will be backed up to ARCserve backup media.
