D-Link India has launched its new series of high port density Layer 3 chassis switches aimed at providing enterprises with a complete core switching solution. Featuring the entire Layer 3 solution, D-Link DES-7100 Series, DES-7200 Series and DES-7200E Series switches are equipped to provide businesses with IPV6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) core routing, 10G over copper, high availability, high redundancy and reliability.
"D-Link new switches offer a comprehensive chassis-based switching solution that caters to specific enterprise verticals," said Jayesh Kotak. VP - Product Management, D-Link India. "Each switch has been specially designed to cater to the daily demands of the enterprise, and features technology to provide optimum performance, even for bandwidth intensive applications."
He further added, "Our 7100 Series is designed to target the education sector and medium businesses, 7200 Series for the BFSI, government, PSU and healthcare segment and 7200E Series for data centre and service providers".
The seven new chassis switches introduced by D-Link are intelligent, high-performance multi-layer LAN devices designed for enterprise campus and metropolitan area networks (MAN). They are ideal for deployment in environments where high level of performance, security and control are required.
Featuring a flexible modular architecture, these switches provide scalable expansion and a high level of investment protection for businesses and telecom carriers to deploy Gigabit and 10-Gigabit packet switching and routing for office networking.
