Genovate, a high-end technology company, has announced that it has become Novell's first platinum partner in India. Genovate provides business applications, software solutions and consulting services, in addition to value-added educational programs and quality training services in the Asia-Pacific region.
A global infrastructure software and services company, Novell has identified Genovate as a platinum partner to cater to the training market in India. Genovate currently operates in 10 cities across India which include Mumbai, Cochin, Trichy, Ahmedabad, Pune, Lucknow, Mangalore, Vadodara, Hyderabad and Bangalore. Genovate is also looking at catering to both individuals seeking training in relevant fields and institutes alike. RapidStart, Genovate's subsidiary in India will strategise in working with local universities and conduct Novell’s academic courses.
Novell's partner program has three membership levels: silver, gold and platinum. As a platinum partner, Genovate will have the opportunity to co-engage with Novell on major customer opportunities. Genovate, on the other hand, will offer Novell Commercial Training in India, which is the company's most technical instruction program. The comprehensive courseware addresses a wide range of advanced topics including support issues, in-depth architectural reviews and enterprise solutions. The hands-on training using a live Novell network gives answers and insights needed to address complex IT issues.
Commenting on the occasion, Anton Ravindran, group CEO and founder, Genovate said, "“We expect that this alliance with Novell proves to be a symbiotic one and we are confident of meeting our desired objectives. With our centres across India, we plan on imparting world-class training to our customers capitalising on Novell’s expertise in the field".
MaryJo Swenson, vice president, Novell Technical Learning said, "Providing training services to customers has become a competitive requirement for many organisations. Through this tie-up, we would like to showcase that our customers are valued, and that their satisfaction is paramount to our organisation. With Genovate being our platinum partner in India, we are confident of providing efficient training to our customers". (www.moneycontrol.com)
