HP India has launched the HP Compaq dx2000 Business Desktop PC series to meet everyday business computing needs. Developed at the HP India Design Centre, this business PC has the ability to withstand harsh Indian working conditions and yet deliver on productivity and efficiency. With a small form factor, the new desktop is ideal for organisations which struggle with challenges such as space limitations, data security and power consumption, especially in the ITeS sector.
"The HP Compaq dx2000 series represents a new look and feel for commercial products, as design becomes increasingly important to organisations, while maintaining performance benefits," said Arun Rao, country manager – Business Desktops, Personal Systems Group, HP India. "Designed to meet basic business computing needs like word processing, spreadsheets, Internet browsing and e-mail along with an integrated biometric solution and firewall for security – the HP dx2000 series allows customers to focus on their core business versus their technology requirements."
The new chassis design of the HP dx2000 series offers engineered cooling and electrical sub-systems to support greater reliability and longer lifecycles. Key features for the series also include easy-to-access slots, ports and bays so customers can get started quickly; optional integrated 16-in-1 media reader for handy access to digital files from a variety of media types; and ample expansion capabilities to customise the performance of the dx2000 series.
The HP Compaq dx2000 Business Desktop PC series includes the HP Compaq dx2009, dx2710 and dx2355 Business Desktop PCs.
