Indian, the domestic carrier has deployed a new web check-in application from Bird Information Systems (BIS). Dubbed "i Check-in", the service is designed to allow passengers with e-tickets to check-in directly from the comfort of their home or office thereby saving their time at the airport.

The passenger is presented with a web check-in option, while booking a ticket on the Internet booking engine. By simply entering his basic booking details, the passenger can get the boarding pass on his desktop and go directly to the security gate at the airport without wasting any time.
