Skelta Software, a provider of BPM workflow solutions and services is of the opinion that the upcoming release of Skelta BPM.NET will extend its integration with 2007 Microsoft Office and all its components including SharePoint 2007, Exchange Server 2007 and Windows Vista.
The current release of Skelta BPM.NET 2006 provides some out-of-the-box interfaces that enable information workers to manage tasks from within Outlook 2007.
Skelta BPM.NET 2006 is a web-based BPM software designed for full cycle BPM implementations. Built on Microsoft technologies, it features advanced BPM functionality for Human Workflow Services, support for multiple channels and forms for task delivery and execution, new calendar options, a process modeler/designer and support for several BPMN 1.0 standards.
According to Sanjay Shah, CEO, Skelta Software, "Skelta's support for the 2007 Microsoft Office system goes much beyond technical integration- new functionality planned for the product are designed to take full advantage of Vista's rich interfaces and capabilities of Office 2007. The release for 2007 Office has a strong emphasis on usability and aims to completely simplify process management for business users."
Shah also informed that Skelta products will continue to be compatible with Office 2003 although some new features may be available only on the Office 2007 platform.
