Web security and Web filtering software provider, Websense has chose to deploy TIBCO's business integration solutions to bring greater organizational agility to its enterprise and improve overall operational performance.
The implementation at Websense will encompass transitioning from an inflexible application system to a more integrated solution that will connect its front-office sales and marketing systems with the back-office financial system and databases.
Websense will rely on TIBCO service-oriented architecture (SOA) and business process management software to mediate interactions among disparate applications and databases, automate complex business processes, manage transactions, handle exceptions and process critical business events.
TIBCO's SOA and BPM software will enable Websense to improve communication between departments, unlock value from existing systems, reduce long-term maintenance costs and improve operational agility, said TIBCO in a statement.
Elaborating on the reasons for choosing TIBCO’s solution, Jim Haskin, chief information officer, Websense said, "TIBCO's strong technology reputation made them a natural choice to help evolve our enterprise architecture to meet the changing needs of our organization. TIBCO's software will help us eliminate the delays and errors inherent when systems can't communicate properly. We expect this will provide us with a more efficient operational environment that can bring new levels of productivity into our core business processes."
