QAD, a provider of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, has appointed Axcend Automation and Software Solutions as its second distributor in India. Axcend will be responsible for sales and implementation of the entire range of QAD products in India.

Axcend, an enterprise Manufacturing IT solution provider, will be responsible for expanding the market for QAD’s products. The move aims to synergise QAD’s range of ERP solutions like CRM, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Asset Management, Transportation Management etc. with Axcend’s knowledge and reach of the automotive, industrial machinery, auto components and consumer goods industries.

In a similar vein, Axcend’s spokesperson Uma Balakrishnan, CEO reiterated, "Axcend’s deep knowledge of the discrete manufacturing domain and ERP requirements of the different Indian industry verticals coupled with the range of QAD’s products will forge a strong strategic partnership."
