Dell has identified government, public sector and education as areas of strategic focus to achieve a stronger growth in India.
Speaking on the topic of “Democratising Technology in Government, Public Sector & Education” at an event held in New Delhi, Rajan Anandan, VP and general manager, Dell India said, “The Government is among the largest buyers of computer systems in India and we have put in place a strong team to address opportunities in this segment. With our India factory coming on stream later this year, we will be well poised to compete and win business in this space.”
Dell"s value proposition for institutional customers builds on the principles of standards-based platforms. Rather than restricting customers by proprietary hardware, software and expensive services, Dell delivers choice through standardisation of core elements in the datacentre.
“Dell offers the ability to deploy optimised solutions, terrific value over the long-term, and technology that is ready for the future. It"s how we help clients deploy mission-critical applications from the data centre to the end users, and pay only as they grow their infrastructure”, added Rajan.
