Intel has launched a new processor technology to help small and medium businesses to reduce their operational costs.
The company's Indian subsidiary has developed a new processor - vPRO - and an upgraded version of Centrino pro-processor for managing the services of small and mid-size businesses.
"Infotech firms such as Wipro, 3i and Zenith are building application and services on the vPRO platform to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) reduce operational costs and consume less power," said Narendra Bhandari, director, South Asia, Intel.
"The new processors will transform the business client platform and manage the IT infrastructure remotely."
