MindTree Consulting has launched an Infrastructure Management and Technical Support (IMTS) business, to manage the IT infrastructure of global enterprises and provide private-labelled technical support for enterprise class technology products.
 
MindTree will offer server and storage management, network management, database administration and management, performance management and IT helpdesk, as also technical support for packaged applications and enterprise products.

In order to support its customers, MindTree has also set up a network operating centre (NOC) that will help monitor, manage and operate enterprise infrastructure remotely.
 
Ashok Soota, MindTree consulting chairman and managing director, believes, "Infrastructure Management and Technical Support Services offer high predictability and have strong growth potential. There is a large untapped market in this sector which is increasingly becoming open for off shoring. Many of our existing customers are also asking us to serve them in these areas. This service will complement the application development, maintenance services and testing that MindTree currently offers."
