SerWizSol, the BPO solutions company from the Tata Group, is expanding its India presence by establishing vernacular BPOs to target the domestic potential.

According to Kuruvilla Markose, head of HR and training at E2E SerWizSol, the company would be establishing call centers in all State capitals shortly.

"We now operate out of three locations, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Pune, and would be adding two or three centers in the next fiscal," he said.

Stating that the company would be investing close to Rs 10-15 crore for the expansion, Markose said the headcount would also be increased to 7000 to 8000 from the current 4000 people.

He added, "We are also planning to set-up in Northeast at Guwahati, as well as in secondary cities like Jaipur, Bhopal Coimbatore, Gulbarga, Vellore and Chitoor, as the costs are competitive and will broaden the company’s base in India."

All these BPOs would be catering to domestic clients in vernacular languages, as there is a huge potential for these kinds of call centers today.

With the new expansion plans in place, SerWizSol also aims to expand its verticals to media and communications space.

Currently the company specialises in telecom, travel and healthcare verticals.
