Acumence LLC, a provider of manufacturing business intelligence solutions, recently announced that its flagship Manufacturing Business Intelligence (MBI) solution is integrated to the Oracle E-Business Suite, using Oracle Fusion Middleware.
This integration enables Acumence to support customers with a fully integrated business intelligence solution for manufacturers that provides real-time visibility into manufacturing, operational, supply chain, planning, logistics, and enterprise-wide intelligence within a single environment.
Acumence said that its Manufacturing Business Intelligence solution is a robust, scalable software platform offering a broad range of capabilities designed to improve the visibility of plant operations and enable faster and more accurate performance analysis. Italso allows in-depth analysis and reporting on both real-time operational data and historical transaction data with a single portal.
With these capabilities, the company says manufacturers can identify and resolve machine or process bottlenecks promptly to improve production efficiency on a continuing basis, often resulting in savings of millions of dollars per year.
According to Joe Jablonski, CEO of Acumence, "Oracle E-Business Suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware give Acumence the tools and technologies needed to create comprehensive shop floor to top floor intelligence solutions that help our customers drive productivity improvements through the roof."
Oracle Fusion Middleware provides a common technology platform for Acumence to more easily integrate and support their entire mix of Oracle and non-Oracle enterprise applications while laying the groundwork for a SOA.
Acumence says that its use of Oracle Fusion Middleware results in additional benefits for customers. These benefits include a more comprehensive solution based on a SOA that spans a customer’s Oracle Applications and third party applications and enables a lower total cost-of-ownership, and increased agility to more easily transition to a SOA.
