Berger Selects Oracle Applications

Paints manufacturer, Berger Paints has chosen to deploy Oracle Applications to streamline operations across its geographically dispersed manufacturing units and office locations throughout the country.
The company aims to streamline supply chain, optimize inventory utilization, automate key financial processes and enhance overall customer service with modules such as Advanced Supply Chain Planning, Trade Management, Process Manufacturing, Procurement, Financials, Order Management, Logistics and Human Resources Management.
Commenting on the initiative, Subir Bose, MD, Berger Paints stated, "We chose Oracle Applications as it fits our IT needs and supports the company's growth, plan and vision. Oracle's expertise in process manufacturing and business analytics was another deciding factor for us to choose these applications."
Berger currently has operations across nine manufacturing units and close to 10,000 dealers across India.
The company hopes to support its future growth initiative by leveraging strong IT capabilities. It believes that the Oracle applications will allow it to reduce product development cycle time and introduce new products at a faster pace as per the changing customer preferences.
