D-Link India has launched its latest Wireless G Router (DIR-300), an entry-level Wireless G router for home and small office users. With DIR-300 one can share a broadband Internet connection with multiple computers by simply connecting it to a cable or DSL modem.

The router claims to include packet inspection as well as firewall functions to safeguard the network from harmful attacks. One of the key features of DIR-300 is its scheduling parental control which helps parents to have more flexible control when kids access the Internet.

DIR-300 is also based on the 802.11g standard and is backward compatible with 802.11b. Wireless encryptions such as WEP, WPA and WPA2 are supported to ensure that data gets securely transmitted over the wireless network.
