UGSI Signs MoU With iiit-b To Create A Research Centre

Unisys Global Services India has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (iiit-b) (formerly the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore). The MoU will facilitate joint research activities in the domain of real-time infrastructure, particularly focusing on security and maintenance of critical technology assets, and is aimed at creating a high-technology research lab within UGSI to create new products for its global customers.
Kumar Prabhas, Country Manager and Managing Director, UGSI said, "At UGSI we believe in instilling a culture of innovation. We are excited to partner with a premier research institute like iiit-b. This will give our employees a platform to use their skills to develop newer solutions and products that will ultimately benefit our customers."
Prof. Shrisha Rao, iiit-b said, "We are excited to have this tie-up with UGSI, which will create high-technology IT products and solutions, and foster a vibrant climate of research and innovation within UGSI. We encourage corporates to follow UGSI's lead and instill a culture of top-quality research and innovation and provide a continuous learning curve to their employees. We look forward to a long-standing relationship with UGSI."
The R&D division at Unisys Global Services India focuses on developing solutions and products that addresses customers needs and employs a large number of post graduate and PhDs in the field of Information Technology.
