Pramati And Covalent Announce Coalition
By: Minu Sirsalewala  |  Feb 22, 2007
Covalent Technologies, a provider of support services for open source projects from Apache Software Foundation, and Pramati Technologies, a vendor of J2EE application servers and solutions, have announced a partnership to offer Covalent open source solutions with Pramati technology consulting services around middleware solutions and open source frameworks to enterprise customers.

While Pramati will market and distribute Covalent open source solutions to its enterprise customers in the Asian region, Covalent will promote Pramati's MiddlewareWorks technology consulting services in Asia and North America.

MiddlewareWorks works with ISVs and large enterprise clients of Pramati, bringing the string technology, server internals and systems perspective to a broader J2EE solution space.

"This is a strategic relationship among two leading technology-focused companies around open source, leveraging each other's product, technology and services strengths to provide added value to both our customers in the Asian and North American marketplace," commented Pramati founder and CEO, Jay Pullur.

"We are honoured to partner with Pramati to deliver leading technology solutions to their enterprise customers who are continually looking for more comprehensive and professional support and service for open source technologies in the Asia-Pacific region," said Mark Brewer, CEO of Covalent Technologies.
