Apple Releases New OS For Mac Computers

Apple has released a new operating system for its Mac computers.
The upgraded OS 10.5, nicknamed Leopard includes some 300 improvements including a 'time machine' that tracks and resurrects lost data, and improved video-conferencing abilities.
The eagerly awaited system was delayed by several months while the company's engineers worked on developing the iPhone.
Rival Microsoft, whose software powers 90% of the world's computers, released its newest operating system, Vista, in January.
