Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi announced the appointment of Natarajan Viswanathan (Natty) as Managing Director of its India operations.  Natty will be responsible for providing sales direction and leadership to achieve Hitachi Data Systems' corporate business objectives in India.

As India Managing Director, Natty will work closely with the Asia Pacific business leaders in driving the growth and the expansion of the company's revenue and market share in India.

"With Natty at the helm of the Hitachi Data Systems team in India, I am very confident we now have the leadership in place that will help us win in both the large enterprise and SMB markets in India," said Michael Cremen, senior vice president and general manager, Asia Pacific, Hitachi Data Systems.

Prior to joining Hitachi Data Systems, Natarajan held the position of area VP with Parametric Technology Corporation.
