Symantec will showcase its latest Norton anti-virus software products to technology stakeholders at a vision summit in Mumbai Thursday.
The daylong event would enlighten chief technology officers (CTOs) and IT administrators from diverse sectors such as storage, security, information management and IT operations on compliance solutions to manage risk and enhance performance of their software.
"The Symantec Vision 2007 will enable participants evaluate the latest security solutions, preview demos from vendors on cutting-edge products and learn best practices from peers in the domain," the official said.
Symantec will demonstrate a slew of latest products and solutions at the event. Among its latest products are Endpoint Protection (version 11.0), a single multi-layered security solution to improve protection and lower cost of ownership.
The company will also showcase Network Access Control (version 11.0), an optional module, which is integrated with the former to help users evaluate status of endpoints and re-mediate issues to ensure security policies are met.
Another product that Symantec will demonstrate is Storage United, a new business initiative to help enterprise storage professionals unite their entire storage environments and, in turn, align storage with the business.
It will also showcase NetBackup (version 6.5), which delivers a rich set of features to unlock the potential of disk-based backup along with an integrated platform to centrally manage all key data protection technologies.
