Cradle Technologies has announced the launch of Janus, a surveillance solution, in India and aims to capture 25% market share in this segment in the next five years.

Janus, a product based on Cradle's proprietary and patented multi-core digital signal processing performance, is used in processing the video and audio signals for various purposes including business and security.

"Besides security agencies, we are providing video surveillance solutions to various other industries such as shopping malls, petrol stations, chemical industry and jewellery shops," said Cradle Technologies founder and executive vice-president Satish Gupta.

He said, the company which is entering the domestic market through its channel partners like Zicom, is targeting 25% share in the country in next five years.

The company is in talks with other players for sales and distribution.

"As soon as we put our sales and distribution network in place, we are also planning to set up a manufacturing unit in the country," Gupta said.

Cradle Technologies is a US-based digit video surveillance manufacturing company and has a development centre in Pune.
