McAfee, Inc. has announced that Absolute Software, Application Security, Inc., Bit9, Inc., Guardium, LogLogic, Palamida, Q1 Labs, Raytheon Oakley Systems and Voltage have joined the McAfee Security Innovation AllianceTM, a technology partnering program that accelerates the development of interoperable security products and simplifies the integration of those products within complex customer environments. Through the program, these companies will be able to integrate with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePOTM) for a security and compliance risk management solution.
"By implementing products that are compatible with McAfee solutions, our customers experience faster deployment times and reduced costs," said Joe Gottlieb, vice president of corporate strategy and technology alliances, McAfee. "Security should be easy to manage, so McAfee has taken the steps needed to open up its security risk management architecture and provide customers with the tools to easily manage their multi-vendor security environments. The result is greater protection, reduced risk and increased compliance."
Absolute Software, Application Security, Inc., Bit9, Inc., Guardium, LogLogic, Palamida, Q1 Labs, Raytheon Oakley Systems and Voltage Security will be using McAfee's software development kit and application programming interfaces (APIs) to integrate with ePO, and leverage the first interoperability category made available to Security Innovation Alliance partners through the program. Security Innovation Alliance Partners will also be able to test, validate and market their products as "McAfee Compatible."
