Netgear Technologies India Pvt. Ltd has announced the launch of the NETGEAR ProSafe Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall (FVS336G).
 
According to the official press release, NETGEAR ProSafe Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall (FVS336G) i provides network security, remote access and reliable Internet access for small and medium businesses. Simultaneous support for up to 25 IPsec and 10 SSL VPN tunnels enables the ProSafe Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall to serve secure connections for both site-to-site communications and remote or telecommuter access without the need for VPN client software.

Equipped with an integrated four-port 10/100/1000 Mbps switch for high-speed network connectivity, the SNMP-manageable ProSafe Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall (FVS336G) provides two Gigabit WAN ports to support dual broadband connections for load-balancing or fail-over, thereby increasing the bandwidth and reliability of a company’s Internet connection. The ability to support both SSL and IPsec VPN tunnels enables the ProSafe Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall to provide both clientless remote access through a secure Web browser interface and legacy support for client-based remote access.

Additionally, IPSec VPN tunnels enable secure site-to-site VPN tunnels to connect branch office locations seamlessly. A full-featured firewall, the ProSafe Dual WAN Gigabit SSL VPN Firewall delivers multidimensional network security including denial-of-service (DoS) protection, stateful packet inspection (SPI), URL keyword filtering, logging, reporting, and real-time alerts.
