HP has refreshed its Integrity server lineup with the latest processor technology and new software to help customers reduce costs.

Enterprise customers can now reap advantages from new system software innovations in power and remote management across HP Integrity and Integrity NonStop server systems running HP-UX 11i, Microsoft Windows Server, Linux and OpenVMS.

In addition, the Integrity systems family of servers and server blades are now powered by the latest Intel Itanium processor 9100 series, code named “Montvale.”

With these enhancements, NonStop systems claim to function as the heart of a service-oriented architecture (SOA) in the datacentre. Customers can use an SOA implementation with Integrity NonStop alongside mainframes and banks of Linux machines so IT can act as a service to the business.

HP Integrity NonStop servers with Montvale processors also claim to offer up to a 20% price/performance increase over previous generations of the systems.
