TIBCO Software announced that it has completed the porting of TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO iProcess Suite and TIBCO BusinessEvents to HP Integrity servers running HP-UX 11i. HP-UX is TIBCO's preferred UNIX platform for its global customer base.
"Support for HP Integrity servers will allow us to provide greater flexibility and choice to existing and prospective customers," said Sanjay Gupta, vice president, Global Alliances, TIBCO. "Together, our technologies are able to meet the high throughput and low-latency in demanding environments such as finance and telecommunications."
An HP Integrity server running HP-UX 11i provides a high-performance platform for TIBCO's world-class service-oriented architecture (SOA), business process management and complex event processing software. TIBCO plans to port TIBCO ActiveMatrix, its service virtualization platform for SOA to HP Integrity servers later this year.
"The combination of TIBCO's software and HP Integrity servers running HP-UX 11i provides mission-critical virtualization that allows customers to address their business challenges and meet the demands of round-the-clock availability with greater agility and speed," remarked Michelle Weiss, vice president of marketing, Business Critical Systems, HP.
