Tata Consultancy Services has announced that it has signed a multi-year contract with Hawaiian Airlines to provide IT, business process outsourcing and infrastructure services.
Through TCS’ Global Network Delivery Model, TCS will deliver end-to-end application maintenance and support services to Hawaiian Airlines’ core revenue accounting application, an automated passenger revenue accounting system. The system aids Hawaiian Airlines through systematised transactions that provide information on sales, refunds, exchanges and other miscellaneous data for key accounting processes. The system also facilitates recordings of air traffic liability amounts.
“After a rigorous selection process, TCS was chosen for its airline experience and strong track record in application development and maintenance projects," said David J. Osborne, executive vice president and chief information officer, Hawaiian Airlines. “We’re confident that TCS’ comprehensive set of IT, business process and outsourcing services will provide tremendous operational efficiencies and peak performance to allow us to focus on what we do best – provide excellent customer service.”
