Tech Mahindra (TechM), a global player in providing end-to-end IT services and solutions to the telecommunications sector and SITRONICS Telecom Solutions, a developer and producer of high-end communications equipment and BSS/OSS have announced a partnership to jointly address fixed line, mobile operators and WiMAX players across Europe, Asia Pacific and MEA.
While Tech Mahindra will exploit SITRONICS TS’ strong position in the Central and Eastern European and CIS markets to enter this market, SITRONICS TS will leverage Tech Mahindra’s presence in Asia Pacific, India and MEA to bring its FORIS BSS/OSS solutions and TENNET NGN products to communications service providers in this region.
TechM with its telecom domain knowledge and SITRONICS TS with its solution offerings for the BSS/OSS and Next Generation Networks will enable telecom service providers to launch new revenue generating services using this technology.
"Partnering with SITRONICS TS will enable us to work with highly specialised product development teams and collaborate very closely. This will enable us to work towards more innovative ways of leveraging existing infrastructure, and also introduce new services," said CP Gurnani, president, International Operations.
"Asia Pacific is the most rapidly growing market where customers are always looking for innovative implementations of technology; SITRONICS TS’ solutions can enable the region's operators to launch new revenue generating services on a flexible and scalable platform to meet the present and future demands of the market," said Nihad Hurem, CEO of SITRONICS TS.
