IBM India has launched an initiative for mid-market businesses and a host of cross-industry solutions for SMEs in six major cities, commencing with Bangalore.
"Express Advantage" is a strategic initiative which includes a portfolio of Express Advantage products and services that provides SMEs access to a network of local IBM business partners and customer experience capabilities.
"These offerings exemplify how we collaborate with our business partners to develop solutions that will enable their customers minimise the business challenges they face while increasing their return on investment," said IBM India/South Asia Director GSMB Ramesh Narasimhan.
The initiative is being launched in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai in a week.
"IBM will continue to expand this programme in India," he added.
"The latest additions to the Express Advantage portfolio address the growing demand for innovative business and infrastructure solutions, which drive more than 60% of mid-market technology spending," he said.
The Express Advantage product portfolio includes offerings from IBM's software systems and technology and service groups which addresses security, business, recovery and energy efficiency needs of mid-sized firms.
The offerings are broadly categorised as infrastructure solutions and business solutions.
Another key benefit of IBM Express Advantage is IBM Financing Advantage (IFA) designed specifically for the mid-market.
