Hewlett-Packard India launched its new Compaq Desktop portfolio featuring a new design and enhanced ergonomic features. The new range breaks away from the traditional 'box' PC, and offers great features at an affordable price.
The new Compaq Presario SR5000 series comes in a modern sliver finish with wide-screen 17” Compaq branded monitors with integrated speakers.
The new range comes with 2.5” HP Pocket Media Drive Bay, available in 80GB and 120 GB, for additional storage capacity. Carry your pictures, music, videos and work files wherever you go. The Pocket Media Drive does not require additional power supply, supported by its 2-feed-USB 2.0 power and data sharing cable. Its high-shock tolerance feature ensures you can carry it safely just anywhere.
With the strategically placed memory card reader and the power button placed on top of the PC, users now do not have to bend to switch on the CPU which is mostly stacked under the PC table. The new keyboards are slim, built with easy to use low profile keys, side hot keys for easy and instant access to the most common functions.
According to P. Krishnakumar, Country Category Manager – Consumer Desktops, Personal Systems Group, Hewlett-Packard India, "The new range launched today is after extensive consumer research to offer the best computing experience to users. The HP Design Team has combined the designed philosophy with fashion elements and consumer electronics trends to offer the ideal PCs for the modern home. The new range is set to redefine Home computing."
The new range priced between Rs. 30,990 – Rs. 37,490, will be available across all HP retail outlet or through HP E-Store by logging on to www.hp.com/in or through tele-booking at +91-124-3030.
Compaq Presario SR5000 series Home Desktop PC with Compaq FP1707 17-inch LCD Monitor starts from Rs. 37,490.
