Power supply manufacturer Antec, has increased the warranty on their top line of PSUs ( Power Supply Units) from three years to five years. The PSUs, which will be covered under the new policy are from the Neo HE and TruePower Trio series. Neo HE, has power supplies in 380, 430, 500 and 550 watt capacities with the 500 and 500 watts being SLI-ready. The TruePower Trio series has PSU’s in the range of 430, 550 and 650 watts with the 550 and 650 watt models SLI-ready.
A three year warranty is not less for a power supply, but with Antec's rivals like OCZ and Corsair offering a five year warranty on their PSUs, the company felt it necessary to to offer the same. OCZ and Corsair don't deal in India, only Antec does; so its good news for the Indian users.
