Sony seems to be in a fix once again. This time because of their faulty digital cameras. Apparently eight of their recently launched Cybershot models have a manufacturing defect that causes their LCD screens to give an inaccurate display or prevent the camera from working at all in hot and humid weather conditions.
The following cameras sold between September 2003 and January 2005 may have this particular problem — DSC-F88, DSC-M1, DSC-T1, DSC-T11, DSC-T3, DSC-T33, DSC-U40 and the DSC-U50.
Sony has offered free replacements or repairs for this problem on the above mentioned models.
