Casio launches Exilim EX-Z1000 underwater case

If you're planning your holidays at the end of our summer in a diving paradise like the Goa or Maldives, you should think beforehand about how to convey your unforgettable impressions to your loved ones at home. To be able to document the most beautiful time of the year under water as well, in continuation to the EWC-60 to go with the Exilim Card EX-S600 and EX-S500 and the EWC-70 with the Exilim Zoom EX-Z600 and EX-Z500, CASIO now has designed the new underwater housing EWC-80.

The Exilim Zoom EX-Z1000, equipped with 10.1 megapixel therefore becomes the ideal companion for an expedition into the fascinating world of the bright red soft-coral fields and the glowing multi-coloured fish. The polycarbonate housing of the EWC-80 has an operational depth of up to 40 meters. It is equipped with an easy to use click-fastening system and the possibility of mounting an external flash. The continuation of all function buttons of the Exilim Zoom EX-Z1000 on the housing provides optimal operational comfort.

The transparent protection for the lifestyle camera only weighs around 270 g and also draws attention to itself on land with its trendy orange accents. The EWC-80 is available at retail from July 2006 and comes complete with a flash diffuser, strap, silicon paste as well as an anti-misting kit.

Hi,did any one watch the iphone 3G keynotes video. Steve jobs confirmed that the iphone price will not be more that $199 in any part of the world for 8 GB. He stressed on this statement a lot. $199 for an 8 GB is a wonderful offer. But I think Vodafone and airtel will have special talk plans that would be expensive. Lets see. I phone will be launched in 2 phases. Phase 1 inc.. USA, UK and others and the launch for this phase is 11 July. Phase 2 will be the rest of other countries inc.. India and the launch will be executed with in 3 months after phase 1. So my guess is that we will be seeing a iphone that has been leagally imported to india by the end of september.Watch the keynote on apple website.. Iphone is the best toy of 2007 and 2008 ... !!!

It's cool that it's available for 8600 now but the biggest drawback is that we don't have 3g in india and it has sealed battery.They must have made battery such that it last for 2-3 yrs after that we'll have to buy new one.

the good with iphone is thatits slim design and touch interface.but the rest are all the same.the problem is thatwe can sent datas through bluetooth only to an another iphone handset only and we can download softwares through wifi which is not in a wide use in india.
