Mitsubishi Electric’s Visual Information Systems division is launching its latest HC1100 HD-ready home projector in the UK. The HC1100 has been designed to suit the requirements of users who are looking for an economical home cinema projector that can provide fantastic picture quality for film, sports and general viewing in high definition at a low price.
The HC1100 utilizes Texas Instruments' latest DLP technology, DarkChip2 with DDP3020 Digital Light Processing, and an HD-ready resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels to produce detailed images. It features a brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens with a contrast ratio of 3000:1 for exceptionally high image quality, and has an advanced filter-free design. In addition, the six-segment color wheel and BrilliantColour technology are said to deliver true-to-life colours.
The HC1100 provides an impressive 3000 hours of lamp life in low mode to help keep overall running costs low, and an extremely low fan noise of 25dB ensures that the viewing experience remains centrestage.

The HC1100 is now available in the UK from stock at a suggested retail price of £532 plus VAT. The HC1100 comes with a three-year return-to-base warranty (RTB).
