Sharp Business Systems recently launched its new series of multimedia DLP projectors: XR-40X, XR-30X and XR-30S. The projectors have all the ingredients you'd want, plus some that you'd take for granted.
The XR Series claims a 'higher than high' brightness and contrast ratio with full digital capability, which is good for presentations. They utilize Texas Instruments' DDR DLP display technology in combination with TrueVision (DDP2000) image processing.
The Condenser Lens Optical System provides a 2200:1 contrast ratio (2000:1 in XR-30S), along with crisp images from both computer and video sources. Other features include DVI-D input, short-throw zoom lens, HDTV compatibility and up to 3,000-hour lamp life.
The XR Educator XR-30 and XR-40 Series incorporate a 3x speed (maximum) color wheel that ensures all projected images are uniform and void of the rainbow effect. The DVI-D terminal also complies with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) to support digital video content in high-definition.
The XR-40X is priced at Rs 85,000 + taxes, the XR-30X costs Rs 59,000 + taxes, and the XR-30S will set you back by Rs 47,000 + taxes. They are available at all Sharp dealer outlets, and through IT channels across India.
