Blu-ray discs have already gone double-layer, but the number of players available has yet to catch up. Pioneer's flagship Blu-ray player, the BDP-HD1, has now been delayed until December, citing quality issues. The player, which was originally supposed to be out in stocks in May for a staggering $1,500 (Rs. 67,500 approximately), 'has not passed the company’s quality control requirements, and it will be available when it does'.
Look at the brigher side, at least you stand a chance of having some colorful, Blu-ray goodness in your home in time for Christmas.
