Buffalo Launches 400 GB External HDD

Buffalo Inc, has announce the first ever 400GB portable external hard drive (HD-PS400U2) in the MiniStation series.


The MiniStation 400 GB TurboUSB is a USB 2.0 portable hard-drive, which also comes complete with a wrap-around able for easy storage and comprises a tough durable outer case and shock-absorbent internal design. The hard drive features Buffalo's TurboUSB technology, speeds up file transfer rates and performance upto 64%.

With "Plug-n-Play" USB capabilities, the MiniStation can connect to any USB 2.0 port on a desktop, laptop or Buffalo network attached storage device where the software is loaded. It also features Buffalo's unique Secure LockWare (SLW) utility1, which offers drive and file encryption to protect data with up to 256bit AES Encryption technology. Data can be protected further using the multilingual Memeo Auto Backup software for Windows, which offers improved backup options, including scheduled backup and password protection, in a number of different languages.

Backed by a limited two-year warranty, the 400 GB TurboUSB MiniStation range is available at Rs. 19,999 in India.

It will come down after 3 to 6 months to a reasonable price like 6000 to 8000

Price..........you can get a PC with 160 GB hard disk for that price.

Excellent, Small, handy and high capacity. Shock-absorbent internal design is definitely added security. But yes I would agree price of Rs.20000 very high.
