Remember Max Payne? Yes, the same game that revolutionized the action genre with bullet time and all that? Well unfortunately, we still don't know if we'll ever get a Max Payne 3, but the game's developer, Remedy has been busy working on a survival horror game called Alan Wake, and if official US Xbox magazine, OXM is to be believed, you'll have to wait till 2008 for a glimpse of the action. In case you have no clue as to what this game's about, read this, and then feel bad that it's been delayed:
Set in the deceptively idyllic town of Bright Falls, Alan Wake immerses players in an intense and expansive cinematic world that enables players to roam freely in hyper-realistic, dynamic and interactive environments. Feeling bad already?
The game runs best in quad cores where every core is used in a different way, the demo they showed recently was great. And i think they know that quad cores will be a luxury for sometime and releasing this game in around 2008 would be better.
