Asterix Makes it to Mobile Gaming

I don’t think there’s anyone who hasn’t read the legendary comics by Albert Goscinny and Rene Uderzo that so very colorfully depict the adventures of the two indomitable Gauls: Asterix and Obelix. The comic books are wildly funny and so are the animated cartoons. Now EA has got the license to bring us the official Asterix at the Olympic Games 2008 movie mobile video game.


Though there have been two movies released, the latest – Asterix at the Olympic Games – is releasing this month. The storyline? Asterix and buddy Obelix go off to Athens, Greece, to fight for Lovestorix’s love, the beautiful Princess Irina. The game will take you through the streets of the city and have you compete in various sporting events.
