Much to the glee of brawler fans out there (our entire office included), Electronic Arts has announced the next gen iteration of their hip-hop-gangbanging fighter, Def Jam.
I personally felt Def Jam: Fight for New York was one of the best fighters I’ve played ever (don't have too much love for MK or Tekken) and I was really looking forward to a sequel on the PS2, but instead I was treated to a PSP version, which I still haven't checked out, by the way (shame on me).
All rambling aside, I’m pretty stoked with this news and according to the game's press release, music in this game will play an even more important role and "the beats and rhythms actually influence the environment around you". Interesting!
As of now only rappers Ludacris, T.I. and Big Boi have been confirmed, but we’ll keep you informed as and when more of this game gets revealed. Def jam icon will be released for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 in March 2007.
Come on man when give us the exact date it drops we all love the games. I mean really are nas trina andre 3000 chingy d4l dem franchize boyz or even diddy young jeezy yung joc or jibbs gonna be on this hit us back
